Tahini can be used in a variety of dishes- it’s needed to make hummus, is great on salads and vegetables, stirred into soups or served as a dip.

Ingredients, makes 1.5 cupsHomemade Tahini

2 cups organic sesame seeds

Organic extra virgin olive oil


1) Preheat oven to 162°C (325F). Spread the sesame seeds onto a lined baking tray and bake for about 20 minutes, shuffling them every 5 minutes. They will be fragrant but not brown.

2) Let the seeds cool down before this next step.
