STRAWBERRY & PINEAPPLE COCONUT WATER SMOOTHIE

Coconut water has many health benefits. Firstly it is wonderful because it is low in sugar, only 2.95ml per 100ml. What’s great about the sugar in coconut water is it has a low percentage of fructose (only 32%) meaning that it is mainly made up of glucose which is much more efficient for the body to metabolise.

 

Ingredients 

100g organic full fat natural yoghurt from grass-fed cows/goats

1/2 bottle of coconut water (140 mLs)

1/2 cup organic strawberries

1/4 cup organic pineapple (orange is also nice)

Method 

1) Cut up the fruit

2) Put fruit, yoghurt and coconut water into a blender and blend until smooth

You can use frozen fruit if you would like it a bit thicker and colder
