This would have to be my favourite dessert recipe, it’s just divine! It is lovely on it’s own but extra yummy served with freshly whipped cream, preferably raw and even some seasonal berries.Chocolate Hazelnut Brownie

2 cups organic activated hazelnuts

4 organic eggs from pastured hens

1-1 1/2 cups organic dates, depending on how sweet you would like it

3/4 cup organic cacao powder

180g organic grass-fed butter

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp himalayan salt

1 cup boiling water

1) Preheat the oven to 160°C (325F). Using a food processor, process the nuts until the form a flour

2) Put the dates, butter and baking soda into a small bowl, pour the boiling water over them and smash the dates with a fork to soften them

3) Put all the ingredients into the food processor (the hazelnuts will still be in it) and process well until smooth

4) Pour the mixture into a brownie tin and bake for about 40-45 minutes. Don’t over cook, these are nice when they are slightly under cooked and gooey in the middle.
