I love the smell of  warm banana bread fresh out of the oven. Enjoy this simple recipe.


Banana Almond Bread


2 organic bananas

4 organic eggs from pastured chooks

2 cups organic blanched almond four

1/4 cup organic expeller pressed virgin coconut oil, melted

2 tbsp organic ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp organic ground nutmeg

1/2 tsp organic baking powder

1/2 tsp unrefined sea salt or pink himalayan salt


1) Preheat oven to 170 degrees Celsius

2) In a bowl, mash the banana, eggs and oil

3) Stir in the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and baking powder until well combined

4) Pour into bread tin and bake for around 30 minutes or until slightly brown on top

This banan is not as sweet as most, if you would like it a little sweeter it’s great with some butter and honey!
